Courses We Offer:
- 6-hour Teen Course - Completion of this course earns you a certificate which will qualify you for a discount from your insurance company
- Adult Course - Specializing in teaching nervous first time driving adults
- Senior Course - Rebuild confidence and refresh your knowledge for mandatory DMV testing
- Stick Shift Lessons - Our stick shift vehicle is equipped with dual clutch and brake to make learning easier for the student
Preparing for the Written Exam
Our driving instructors teach you the theoretical basics every driver needs to know. In addition, you receive many useful tips and extra information.
The theoretical basics consist of:
- Rules of the road in NJ
- Traffic signs and facilities
- Other drivers (characteristics and behaviour)
- Efficiency ratings (how to get better gas mileage)
- Vehicle maintenance
Preparing for the Road Test
Our hands-on driver training is grounded in years of professional experience. At Ocean City Driving School, you will enjoy our patient and friendly driving instructors, who are there to support you every step of the way.
There is no minimum number of lessons mandated by NJ law. However, we recommend a minimum of 10 lessons for most first-time drivers.
Once you have completed our theoretical training - or if you have already passed the Written Exam - you may sign up for driving lessons. We have a modern fleet of vehicles, and will teach you everything you need to know about operating and maintaining a motor vehicle.
